Ghana Police Services and MTN Ghana, a telecommunications company, paved the way for the construction of a 24-unit block of clbadrooms for the Depot Police School Group in Accra.
The block, costing an estimated 1.6 million GH ¢, will include a board of directors, a common staff room, modern furniture and toilets.

The project, which is expected to be completed in six months, will directly benefit more than 2,500 students per year.
Educational system
The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr. David Asante-Apeatu, explained that Ghana's police education system had been set up to educate the children of police personnel, but that the police were not the only ones to be trained. Police Education Unit
The Deputy Director of Police (ACP), Mr Thebi Antwi, director of the police education unit, said that the police depot school group was composed of: Depot One, Two, Three and Four primary schools.
He added that some of the main blocks of clbadrooms were colonial buildings consisting of style blocks that had become weak with insufficient ventilation, while other clbadrooms were improvised wood structures.
