Many Ghanaians wonder who is the lucky man behind Mrs. Charlotte Kesson-Smith Osei, former president of the Ghana Electoral Commission.

Osei was born in Axim, Ghana. His mother, who is of mixed West African nationality, is not Ghanaian and her father, also a West African, has a Ghanaian parent.
Ms. Osei's Profile
Ms. Osei attended high school at the National College of Ghana in Cape Coast. She then went to the University of Ghana where she obtained her Bachelor of Laws in 1992 and to the Ghana Law School where she graduated and was admitted to the Bar in 1992. 1994.
She also holds a Master of Business Leadership (MBL) from the University of South Africa, Pretoria (2006) and a Master of Laws (LLM) from Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
His dismissal as EC Boss was challenged in the Supreme Court of Ghana by two separate orders. She became the first woman to hold this post since the independence of Ghana.
Prior to her appointment, she was president of the National Commission on Civic Education.
