Apple's internal information only on MacBook Air display issues

The ultra slim MacBook Air track model is the best MacBook I've had so far. It's thin, light and fast for the work I have to do – like this blog post and all I have to do so far where I'm traveling. Unfortunately, he managed to get out of the manufacturing and in our hands with some problems.

There is now irrefutable evidence that at least some of the video issues are related to sleep / waking and that Apple, who was totally silent about it, knows the problem exists, but does not recognize it publicly.

Display problems are generally described by the fact that the screen changes from light to dark repeatedly, flashing displays, horizontal lines of different colors, or static horizontal lines running from top to bottom may be corrected by closing the MacBook Air cover for 10 seconds, then opening it. that again.

Now, BGR has released two internal memos disclosed by Apple that confirm the above – which was exactly what AppleCare told me the other day. The memos describe the symptoms, the work to be done, and then indicate that a software update will fix these issues at some point.

Meanwhile, Apple is still on the subject and has not responded to any of my requests for official statement.
