MENZGOLD DEMO 112 Customers have asked the government to create an investigation commission to address their concerns.

The coalition of Menzgold's injured clients suggested that ten of their members died as a result of the shock of the crisis that hit them.

According to the coalition, some members also had to hide to avoid being arrested or embarrbaded by their debtors.

Thousands of Ghanaians who invested in the gold company in order to earn monthly interest on their investment were left speechless after the company closed with regulatory and licensing issues.

The company's owner, Nana Appiah Mensah, better known as NAM 1, is reportedly being tried in Dubai for a gold market that went wrong.

Customers who claim a refund of their money ask the government to create a commission to investigate the operation of the company and the complicity of state institutions.

"More than ten of our members have been counted dead, many are also considering suicide. We demand that the president create an investigation commission. We expect a commission that determines the actual database of customers to know exactly how many people are due and how much that entails. We also demand that all state agencies and officials who have neglected their duties to make this happen be fired. All the foundations that have benefited from the missions of the Non-Aligned Movement must also repay these sums, "coalition secretary Samuel Odartey told reporters on Monday.

Customers who besieged the press center on Monday (February 4th) asked exactly when Appiah Mensah, nicknamed NAM 1, would be extradited to Ghana after his so-called Dubai court hearing.

Customers have also submitted to the government an ultimatum of February 7 to create a commission of inquiry to adequately address their concerns, otherwise they will organize a demonstration across the country to report their disappointment.

Menzgold's grieved customers also want all celebrities, government officials, state institutions and foundations who have benefited from NAM 1 to repay all the money and badets that have been donated to them.
