Part of this work involved taking part in a ceremonial puck between a KHL match, Avangard and SKA St. Petersburg, which was not as planned for Mourinho.

Datsyuk skated for help, after which Mourinho, who appeared to be a good sport, gave the Stanley Cup winner a handshake and a hug.
Although the experience could make Mourinho a hockey head coach, the former boss of United might not miss out on contenders in the near future.
Mourinho ruled out any possibility of joining Benfica, while his biographer said the director was waiting in the summer to exploit potential employment opportunities.
