Azumah called on Ghanaians to pray for Richard Commey and other boxers
Azumah Nelson, triple world boxing champion and the greatest boxer of the WBC's all-time featherweight, congratulated the new International Boxing Federation (IBF) lightweight world champion, Richard Commey, who defeated his Russian opponent Isa Chaniev.
Visibly delighted, Azumah Nelson in an interview with Ghanaweb said that he was excited that Richard Commey had renewed the confidence of Ghanaians to have more world champions from Ghana, especially the way he sent his opponent eagerly. "Ghanaians love their boxing, so every time we win the world title, it brings joy to many. Richard is welcome to the world championship table, "he said.
