Louis Ducruet has been appointed to the recruiting service of Ligue 1 wrestlers

Monaco has named the son of 26-year-old Princess Stephanie to a position in the club's recruiting team.

Louis Ducruet had previously worked on the international recruitment of Ligue 1 wrestlers, who fired Thierry Henry last month.

And Ducruet will now work closely with Vice President and General Manager Vadim Vasilyev, the club announced Monday.

Vasilyev admitted that he had made recruitment mistakes by confirming Henry's dismissal, replaced by club coach Leonardo Jardim.

And the Monegasque vice-president said that the promotion of Ducruet took him more and more to the leadership of the club.

"Louis anchored Monaco deep inside him," added Vasilyev. "He also wants to run the club someday.

"That's why I decided to help him move on this path by allowing him to evolve with me, closer and closer.

"With time and work, he will be able to perfect his knowledge of the world of football, especially in the field of sport."

Cesc Fabregas gave Monaco a 2-1 win over Toulouse on Saturday, their first win of the season in the league allowing them to climb to 18th in Ligue 1.
