Leaders of the Premier League, Liverpool, suffered an unusual defensive gap as they only managed a draw against West Ham to bolster the hopes of their rivals for the title.

The Reds have extended their lead over Manchester City, who is in second place, three points, but the odds strongly push them to take all three goals against the 12th.

It started well for Jurgen Klopp's men when Sadio Mane shot Lukasz Fabianski in the 22nd minute, but before the goal, the Hammers showed enough threat in the attacks to suggest that the traffic would not be one way.

Six minutes later, they got a deserved equalizer when the Liverpool defense did not read Felipe Anderson's free-kick and spotted Michail Antonio's run into the box. The English winger finished with a low angle drive that left the post.

Liverpool did not put West Ham's defense under strong pressure, with two attempts from Salah and a Mane header, comfortably handled by Fabianski, before Divock Origi hit the goalkeeper directly at the end of the match.
