The WrestleMania 35 match is in doubt because of an injury to the WWE star

WWE officials would be wrapping Seth Rollins in cotton before WrestleMania 35 due to a new injury.

The architect triumphed over 29 other superstars to win the men's match in front of the Royal Rumble and win a championship win on April 7.

The next night at Raw, he declared that he would challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at New Jersey Metlife Stadium.

Rollins had received a Triple H accolade earlier in the series, but the Beast Incarnate was not as in love with Seth.

The former UFC heavyweight champion has delivered six F5s in a row to his latest challenger, to the applause of Paul Heyman.

But after the defeat of Lesnar, the number one contender did not show up for his live appearances in Canada this weekend.

And now, Post Wrestling has apparently confirmed why the stage manager was not present – and will not fight anymore in the near future.

John Pollock, of the website, said that Rollins had been faced with a problem that occurred before the confrontation with Brock on Raw last Monday.

He said: "He does not participate in live events at the moment and should not be used on Raw Monday to recover.

"We were told that he would only make physical-less promos for next month on TV."

WWE can not risk losing one of Mania's main events. It is understandable that he is given all the time he needs to recover.

A month out of the ring could make him miss the elimination Chamber on February 17 and Fastlane on March 10, which would give him about a month to get in shape for Mania.

If the undisclosed injury continues to hinder Colby Lopez, his real name, 32, he may have to repeat the trick he had made in 2017.

After undergoing knee ligament surgery, he again injured one knee, but he was still able to confront – and defeat – HHH at WrestleMania 33.

It was Rollins who stole the WWE World Heavyweight title from Brock at WrestleMania 31 in a fight against Roman Reigns.

He did so by cashing his Money in the Bank briefcase to make the competition a triple threat and pinning Reigns to grab gold.
