The story of Rosanna Arquette is triumphant, but it is also troubling. She was one of the first women to speak publicly about Harvey Weinstein. Many of her recent interviews have moved me to see me saying that she could not find work – nor representation – that seems to be a direct consequence of her courage. I'm producing a new Netflix show, RATCHED, with Ryan Murphy – and we decided it could not stand. His body of work, from Susan's Desperate Search to Pulp Fiction and beyond, has always been a source of inspiration to both of us. So, there will be a multi-episode arc for this extraordinary actress. Ratched starts shooting Wednesday and I say with great pride: welcome to our family, Rosanna. I am delighted to be able, thanks to the empowerment of my friend and collaborator, Ryan Murphy, not just to play a role, but also to hire the talent that is presented there.
