Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and the Mandarin Oriental hotel group host the Lunar New Year, honoring the Asian heritage with immersive luxury moments. To celebrate this holiday, which will officially begin on February 5, 2019, the properties of the Mandarin Oriental will offer an impressive range of packages and offers, including the opportunity to discover "Rolls-Royce Cullinan in Red", the most luxurious SUV of all the temperature.
The Mandarin Oriental properties in Boston, Miami and Washington, DC, mark the start of the Lunar New Year with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, giving customers privileged access to the brand's very first luxury SUV, the ultra-luxurious Cullinan. The cars will make a special appearance in each establishment from February 4 to 8 and will be a fortuitous red, chosen for its symbolization of luck and happiness in Chinese culture. A specialist in White Glove Rolls-Royce products will be on hand for car and chauffeur-driven trips within a three-kilometer radius of the hotel. Mandarin Oriental customers will also have the opportunity to gain a unique week-long experience with a Rolls-Royce car in select US luxury destinations.
To celebrate, Rolls-Royce ordered three custom Cullinans. Guests in Washington DC and Miami will have the chance to experience a beautiful Cullinan exterior in magma red with a tan interior, while Boston visitors will have the chance to make a very special trip to Cullinan outside Scala Red and inside black and red Mugello. . All three vehicles are handcrafted in Goodwood, England, home of Rolls-Royce.

On February 2, 2019, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Beverly Hills hosted the fourth annual Lunar New Year celebration: Year of the Pig presented by the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce, the Asian Business Relations Committee at the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and McLaren Beverly Hills Showroom. The event featured traditional Lunar New Year events, including an badortment of epicurean delights from many Asian and Indian cultures, extravagant performances and spectacular surprises that added the Beverly Hills touch.
To celebrate this remarkable initiative, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars unveiled three specially commissioned Year of the Pig orders, exclusively for its guests, including Ghost, Wraith and Dawn. The three cars of the special edition were exhibited in Lunar New Year colors, including Aurum, Mugello Red and Black Diamond. Each car featured a Rolls-Royce pig's nameplate and a hand-embroidered "Lunar New Year" embroidery on the Mugello red headrest. The vehicles are now exclusively available at Rolls-Royce Beverly Hills.
