Oppo is asking brands for Find Z, probably the new high-end model from the Chinese manufacturer, expected in a few months.
Several new Oppo smartphones are expected in the coming months. The company has already announced on the MWC 2019 the first smartphone to present a 10x optical zoom lens, possibly the Oppo F19 and F19 Pro. There are also rumors that the successor of Oppo Find X will be announced soon. A new brand makes us think that this device will not carry the name Find X2.
Oppo Find Z smartphone
Guangdong Oppo Mobile Telecommunications filed a trademark on 2 February 2019 with the EUIPO (Office of Intellectual Property of the European Union) for the trademark Find Z. The description is also included in clbad 9; Mobile communication terminals, cell phones, smartphones.
In the Find series, the best Oppo models have been available for years. Nevertheless, it remained remarkably quiet after the introduction of the Find 7a in early 2014. Until June 2018, the Oppo Find X was announced. The borderless smartphone with automatic camera pop-up is a striking appearance.
There are already several rumors about the Oppo Find X2. This smartphone would also be equipped with a 10x optical zoom lens. The camera would also get a punched camera, or a hole in the display for the selfie camera. The contextual camera being canceled, the camera will probably also be more resistant to water and dust. In addition, the new Oppo Find smartphone will feature a built-in fingerprint scanner.
Now that the Chinese smartphone maker has filed a trademark registration application for the Find Z name, it seems plausible that the successor of the Find X is not X2, but the Find Z. The device is can -be already exposed to the MWC 2019, although it is more likely that the smartphone will be marketed a few months later. Finally, Find X was announced in June.
