Taika Waititi has opened about the next series Star Wars: The Mandalorian at the ACT today.
Waititi spoke to the press after the composition of the TCA committee What we do on TV Shadows series, that he directed, produced, written and played in. He first said that The mandalorian"The style of this film will match that of the original trilogy, even though it also brought his personal touch to the episodes he's made:
"Star wars is very different from the Marvel style. They know that the tone of the first films must really be respected. That's what fans like and you can not really disrespect them. I think it's a nicer way to say that I can not put too many jokes in the movie.

Then the director explained how The mandalorian will satisfy fan demand for more bounty hunters like Bobba Fett. These characters appear in many of the Star wars films, but they are never so developed:
"For most kids growing up with these movies, [Boba Fett] was one of the most favorite characters, even though he was hardly in the movies. Just the idea of bounty hunters, the helmets are so cool. To see characters like that and to film with them is pretty cool. "

Finally, he congratulated Jon Favreau, his fellow director of Marvel and Disney, for the series as a whole and said we would have a lot of badailants-killers gathered for certain scenes:
"Favreau is a genius, so intelligent and excellent in what he does and in the creation of these worlds. The scripts are really great. It was really fun to do something in the Star wars universe.
