Thousands of pbadengers were stranded after the air regulators shut down Turkmenistan Airlines for security reasons.
The United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority has stated that flights from Birmingham and London-Heathrow to Amritsar and Heathrow to New Delhi – which pbad through Ashgabat, Turkmenistan – had been suspended.
The CAA acted after the suspension by the European Aviation Safety Agency of the authorization allowing it to fly in the EU.
He also flies from Frankfurt and Paris.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has stated that the European Aviation Safety Agency has suspended the flights of the airline to and from the EU "pending confirmation of its compliance with standards international aviation safety ".
"This means that Turkmenistan Airlines flights between the United Kingdom (London Heathrow and Birmingham) and Turkmenistan (Ashgabat), are not allowed to travel to and from the United Kingdom," the FCO said.
Pbadengers concerned are invited to contact Turkmenistan Airlines for advice, the FCO said.
The low-cost airline also offers flights from Birmingham and London Heathrow – via Asghabat – to other destinations such as Bangkok and Beijing.
CAA said: "Pbadengers who have traveled may need to make their own arrangements to return home".
Air India, British Airways, Jet Airways, Virgin Atlantic and Turkish Airlines are among the potential offers.
Those who have booked but are now unable to fly will need to contact the airline for a refund.
"Pbadengers who have booked directly with the company via a credit card, debit card or debit card may also be able to make a claim with their card provider," CAA said.
Those who booked through an airline ticket agent should talk about it first, CAA said.
There was no obvious information on the company's website which also seemed to allow new bookings.
Can I get my money back?
Pbadengers seeking a refund for unused tickets are encouraged to contact the airline directly.
If you paid for your credit card and paid more than £ 100, you may be able to claim compensation from your credit card company under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act of 1974.
If you have paid by debit card and have paid more than £ 100, you can try to contact your bank and ask for information about "chargeback". However, to obtain this form of compensation, your bank should get your money directly from the airline.
If you booked through an ATOL-protected travel agent, you may be able to claim compensation through your travel agent.
If you have travel insurance and your insurance covers insolvency, you may be able to make a claim with your insurance company.
