A terminally ill woman is "ecstatic" after her boyfriend asked the question in a breathtaking beach proposal.

According to doctors, Amerlia Page, 30, is expected to live soon after tests reveal that her primary cancer has spread to her gut, pelvis and ovaries, WalesOnline reported.

The disease was diagnosed only three months after the onset of her symptoms.

But this weekend, his boyfriend went down on his knees and asked him to become "the happiest man on the planet" by becoming his wife.

Amelia said, "I have to give everything to beat her."

Luke – who described Amelia as the "most inspiring and brave girl" he's ever met – also contacted Converse CEO Davide Grbad, who agreed to give Amelia an exclusive pair of shoes. for the occasion.

Amelia has described it as the "perfect" proposition.

She said: "The chemo reacted badly to cold, so I could not do any facial expression," she said.

"I was ecstatic, but I could not move my face.I was crying inside.It was perfect as he did."

Luke and Amelia, who have been together since April and met in Dubai, where they lived before moving to Anglesey to join Amelia's family after his diagnosis.

The two men are planning to get married in Las Vegas in the coming months – but the exact date will depend on his treatment.

"It's a bit crazy," she says.

"He had planned everything and we had planned to get married but, in the light of my diagnosis, we now have a shorter time, so he had to hurry up."

"I am absolutely ecstatic, I can not help but look at my ring and it seems so strange to call my fiance.It is one in ten billion.I have so much support and he is always there for me.

"It's a terrible situation and no one wants this to happen to them, that's why I can not let this cancer beat me."

Amelia began her chemotherapy treatment on Wednesday and hopes that she will be considered for alternative medical tests.

His sister Lucy Page, who went to the hospital with Amelia to get her results, said, "She came in with a very positive attitude but told me to prepare for the worst.

"It's incredibly difficult, it does not seem real, I did not expect it to be so bad, she loves going to the gym, she's very healthy and she's always been in shape It's crazy that it can happen to someone like Amelia, and I can not even begin to explain how incredible she is. "

Amelia says she hopes to use the funds raised to be able to receive innovative medical treatment.

"I feel really good after everything that happened with Luke, but I'm very busy right now doing a lot of proactive things," she said.

"I'm trying to find drugs that will help. I was reading about a man who was given a four per cent chance of survival after being diagnosed with terminal cancer and just defeated him.

"If it's going to be someone who's beating that, it'll be me." I have so much support and everyone recites prayers for me.
