The minority in Parliament left the House while Lydia Alhbadan was sworn in as MP for the constituency of Ayawaso West Wuogon on Tuesday morning.
The parliamentarians of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) declare that they do not want to be badociated with the process.
Muntaka Mubarak Mohammed, chief bad of the minority, told the media that their departure was in solidarity with the victims of the violence at the voting center in La Bawaleshie on polling day, Joy News' Joseph Opoku Gakpo reported.
The first vice-president of Parliament, Joseph Osei Owusu, however, decided to swear in it.
