The victim had to exchange raw cashews for 500 000 GHc.
A bank manager recounted how one of his clients had been cheated of 500 000 GHc during a commercial transaction.
According to him, the victim had gone to exchange raw cashew nuts and had to pay 500 000 GHc for the goods.
In an article on Facebook, Christian Tachie-Djan said that the money had been counted in front of the man, to then allow him to realize that he had been scammed.
On a photo that was shared in relation to the story, it appears that the fraudsters exchanged money with papers on the side of the victim.
He wrote: "Alert to fraud !!! A client of mine received this, among others, in a Ghana, he has to go for the payment of 500 000 GH? .
"He said that he was counting money with them, but that he is so perplexed to really know if he was traded for another bag or if African magic did spin money that way.
"Let's all be careful."
