OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER has asked the Manchester United staff not to call his boss because he is committed to bringing "family values" to Old Trafford.
The interim manager has replaced Spurs leader Mauricio Pochettino as a favorite for the permanent post after nine wins over an undefeated start in ten matches.
And the Norwegian wants a more relaxed atmosphere than during his days in the UK with Alex Ferguson.
Solskjaer also told United-Supporteren, a club of Red Devils supporters in Scandinavia, that he hoped to tighten the links between the senior team and the academy.
The 45-year-old said, "It's about a family's values: caring for each other, helping each other, and of course knowing each other.
"[Carrington receptionist] Kath was the first person I saw when I came here.
"Then I met the staff who are here since I was a player. They started calling me" boss. "I told them," Stop that. I'm calling Ole. Call me Ole ".
"We work together and we have known each other for so many years, I did not want them to call me boss.
"We must protect the core values of a football club: the relationship between the coach and the players and the relationship between all those who work at Carrington."
The four main rivals of United, Chelsea, could lose another of their exciting young Bayern Munich players, Callum Hudson-Odoi, in the next two transfer windows.
And Solskjaer is clear that United's kids do not feel out of bounds with more and more prestigious recruits at Old Trafford.
The former United striker said: "This should be a link between everyone, between the academy and the first team.
"I will make sure that we send a message to the academy stating that there are opportunities here.We will work together. It is on this foundation that lies the foundation of this club."
But Molde leader Solskjaer also revealed the speed of his appointment to United, following the fall of Jose Mourinho, leaving his own family in limbo.
He said: "We never had time to sit down and discuss what to do because we had to decide right away.
"It was impossible to say no when the club called and I proposed this fantastic job.
"My family and I will adapt as we go, and I look forward to every visit from them."
