R. Kelly announces that he is going on tour amid allegations of sexual abuse in a documentary

R. Kelly does not lie as a result of allegations of abuse by several women.

On Tuesday, the 52-year-old singer announced a new tour in Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka, tweeting a poster for the upcoming tour.

"Flamingo Dreamz presents R. Kelly, the king of R & B," reads the poster. "Soon to Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka."

The tour follows the exit of Survive R. Kelly in January, a six-part documentary series from Lifetime telling the story of many women who claim to have been abused by Kelly. He denied any allegation of misconduct.

His lawyer, Steven Greenberg, also spoke about the allegations last month during a court appearance on CBS this morning, qualifying the documentary as "hit hit" and claiming that "there is absolutely no evidence [that] what [the accusers are] to say is true. "

Kelly has since played the documentary broadcast, singing her birthday in a crowded nightclub in Chicago, Illinois on January 8th.

"Not everyone in the family knows," he said in a video taken by a fan. "It's my birthday king and I do not tell what's going on tonight."

According to several reports, Kelly no longer works with Sony Music. Its announced departure from Sony last month follows the #MuteRKelly movement, which included protests outside the Sony building and artists such as Lady Gaga, John Legend, Chance the Rapper and more who denounced his alleged behavior.
