Statements of 16 victims of the shooting were collected
Police have expanded its committee to investigate the incidental shooting incident in the constituency of Ayawaso West Wuogon.
A statement issued by police indicated that the investigation would cover the professional and criminal conduct of those involved in the incident.
The statement signed by the Director General of Public Affairs of the ACP, Mr. David Eklu, indicates that members of the Bureau of Professional Standards Police, the Directorate of Prosecutions and Police, police operations , as well as investigators from the crime scene unit of the police and airport division have joined the investigation.
According to the statement, in-depth investigations would be conducted in accordance with the current police transformation agenda aimed at ensuring the highest professional standards in the Ghana Police Service.
In the meantime, 16 victims of the shooting were collected.
