The French software group Dbadault Systemes announced Wednesday a fourth-quarter revenue higher than its predictions, thanks to the strong performance of the platform 3DEXPERIENCE.
The company's fourth-quarter revenue amounted to 1.04 billion euros ($ 1.19 billion), while its revenue forecast was between 982 million euros (US $). Euros and 1 billion euros.
"Many companies … are going through what I call a renaissance of the industry," said Wednesday Charles Bernard, CEO of Dbadault Systèmes, in CNBC's "Squawk Box Europe" show.
Charles said that digitization in various industries, and even in some cities around the world, was now considered "essential to save on reduced costs."
"But also, more importantly, do it right the first time," he added.
The company has also announced a contract with Airbus for the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
