In a February 6 tweet, Dorsey confirmed his participation in the Lightning Network's Torch initiative, a community-based relay transaction initiated last month.
The usual commentator, Matt Odell, invited Dorsey to send him an invoice via Lightning, which would allow him to complete the transaction. Dorsey obliged, leading to a flurry of excited tweets from well-known personalities.

Bitcoin Cash, whose followers control Twitter's @Bitcoin account, posted a message complaining about the high fees charged by Bitcoin at the time of Dorsey's approval.
"Bitcoin is resilient. Bitcoin is based on principles. Bitcoin is native to the ideals of the Internet. And it's an excellent brand, "he said. has explained.
Jack 'Loves', the idea of tipping Satoshis on Twitter
Previously, the CEO of Twitter had repeatedly stated on public forums that he foresaw that Bitcoin would become the "local currency" of the Internet. The point of view seems to contrast with the policy of Twitter, which provides for the prohibition of all advertising related to cryptocurrency.
However, Dorsey has now m said he "loves the idea" of microtips on Twitter improving the quality of the content. Such a failover service already exists and was in fact the source of Lightning Torch.
