Spurs fans hope Dele Alli will return to the field after posting a positive update on his injuries on his social media accounts.

The midfielder had injured the hamstring during the late victory at Fulham last month and the club revealed he would not play until March.

However, with many fans believing that Harry Kane will return to the game after his ankle injury later this month, some believe the 22-year-old will recover as quickly.

While the striker is training in hot weather in the Bahamas while he intends to play in the coming weeks, Alli is also currently doing it at the NAS Sports Complex in Dubai.

After updating his supporters on Monday with a picture of him reinforcing his injury recovery scheme, the English international has given hope to supporters with the message of "progress" that he has published Wednesday morning.

One can see Alli missing on the ground in Dubai in the photo that he posted on Twitter, while he also posted a video and several images of him doing job on his Instagram stories.

Mauricio Pochettino hopes the player will return to the field in the coming weeks, given the club's busy schedule.

Facing Leicester City and Borussia Dortmund in the next seven days, the Lilywhites will finish in February with trips out to Burnley and Chelsea in the Premier League.

Arsenal is then on the agenda of the derby of North London in early March. The return leg of the Champions League against Dortmund will take place three days later.
