Ayawaso West Wuogon: Investigations for Unanswered Questions

Many questions remain unanswered about recent clashes that disrupted the voting process at the La Bawaleshie Center during the Ayawaso West Wuogon polls.

As a result of citizen protests, pressure from civil service organizations, and media questions, it appears that much remains to be done with respect to the circumstances that led to the violence.

The President, Nana Addo Akufo-Addo Dankwa, the IGP, David Asante Apeatu and National Security, led by Bryan Acheampong, are the three major people who were under the fire of the event.

On their side, President Akufo-Addo condemned the violence in a statement, the IGP organized his men to start examining the problems through a committee and Bryan Acheampong also answered questions about the subject.

But several other videos were seen after the event, most of them containing details that may not have been captured in previous videos that appeared on Thursday.
Some videos show young men being beaten and abused by these brown haired men. One shows strikingly about 15 of these men, "jumping" on a young man and hitting him hard.

A relatively "new" video shows one of the uniformed men who knocked Ningo Prampram MP Sam George, saying, "At the beginning of 2020, I swear to God."

This raises a lot of questions, questions as to why this statement was made? Whether or not there is information available that is hidden from the public, whether the "boys" of parties have a connection to it or not, and whether or not there is a "plot" for the 2020 polls .

At the same time, Bryan Acheampong, a state security official, acknowledged that the men involved in Thursday's events were national security agents.
Until this is settled, he says, this "has not ended".

"The information we have goes beyond the by-elections we have just attended. It is a mbadive operation of moving some unwanted things to the public and it is something that, according to the information we have received, has not ended. Our men are actively engaged in unraveling what we suspect. It's not over, when it ends and we deem it appropriate to inform the public of this information, we will do it, "he said in an interview with JoyNews.
