Trump slams "ridiculous partisan inquiries"
In his State of the Union address, US President Donald Trump announced that he would hold a second nuclear summit with the leader of North Korea this month.
In an address to the nation on the theme "Choosing Greatness", he promised to build a new frontier.

While calling for political unity, the Republican president also said that "ridiculous partisan inquiries" could hurt US prosperity.
In a rebuttal, Democrats accused Trump of abandoning American values.
His prime time speech came less than a fortnight after his withdrawal to end the longest closure of the US government, when Democrats refused to fund a US-Mexican border wall.

What did he say about North Korea?
The president announced Tuesday night that he would meet Kim Jong-a in Vietnam from February 27 to 28.
Plans for a second summit have been under development since the historic talks of the two leaders last year.
Mr. Trump's and Mr. Kim's meeting in Singapore last June was the first between a sitting US President and a North Korean leader.
Tuesday evening, Mr. Trump said: "Our hostages have returned home, the nuclear tests have stopped and there has been no missile launch for 15 months.
"If I had not been elected President of the United States, we would currently be, in my opinion, in a major war with North Korea.
"There is still a lot of work to be done, but my relationship with Kim Jong-un is good."
What did he say about political unity?
After two years of toxic partisanship, Trump repeated Tuesday night calls for political unity that he had launched in his last two annual speeches to Congress.
"Together we can break decades of political stalemate," he said. "We can overcome old divisions, heal old wounds, build new coalitions."
Trump talked about potential areas of agreement, such as improving infrastructure, reducing prescription drug costs and fighting cancer in children.
But he added: "An economic miracle is happening in the United States and the only thing that can stop it is insane wars, politics or ridiculous partisan inquiries."
Democrats have launched a series of investigations on the Trump administration since they took control of the US House of Representatives last month.
A special prosecutor is still investigating an alleged interference by Russia in the 2016 presidential election and a possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, which the president and Moscow deny.
A few hours before the speech, Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer accused Trump of "sowing disunity" for most of the year.
At a private luncheon with news presenters at the White House on Tuesday, Mr. Trump would have called Mr. Schumer "nasty", using an offensive term.
While Trump spoke on television on Tuesday, his main opponent in Congress sat in the gallery above his shoulder.
Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has resisted the president's call for funding.
