Logitech has just unveiled the S715i Speaker Dock, a custom portable speaker dock, supplied with an eight-hour rechargeable battery, which allows you to save on your AA costs.

Although larger than some docking speaker docking solutions, the S715i delivers powerful start-up sound with eight custom-designed drivers that separate and enrich specific sound frequencies. Each channel receives a half-inch tweeter, a 3-inch medium driver and two 2-inch pbadive radiators.

The S715i also comes with a wireless remote control, allowing you to control your music, turn down the volume or put your random playlist even across the room.

The S715i works with any device that supports Apple's Universal Dock connector, unlike the iPad, and plays and charges from the built-in battery. If, for any reason, you get lost buying an MP3 player other than Apple or just an old iPod or iPad, you can also connect them with a standard 3.5mm auxiliary input.

The Logitech S715i is currently on sale at a price of 179 €. It will be shipped this month.
