WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell said on Wednesday that the US economy remains well positioned and that it has so far resisted shocks such as the British decision. to leave the European Union.
"The US economy is now in a good position," with unemployment and inflation close to the Fed's 2% target, Powell told a question-and-answer session with economics educators in Washington and a TV broadcast in the Fed agencies in the country.
