Coach Jimmy Corbblah
Ghana's Black Satellites coach Jimmy Cobblah is confident that his team will get the necessary results against Mali in their last Group B match and qualify for the World Cup in Poland.
Satellites were beaten 2-0 by Senegal on Wednesday afternoon. Part of the media had already concluded that the team could not go to the World Cup of Youth.
However, Cobblah is optimistic that his team will win the remaining ticket for the world football gem against Mali.
"I do not know where it comes from or who says that Mali is the second favorite to win this tournament, it may be the opinion of (journalist). People said that Ghana will be the weakest team because we have no competition in our country, but I want to say that Ghana will not leave this tournament without a medal.
"I can badure you that we will qualify for the World Cup the day we play in Mali"
"We protested against the fact that it was not fair that we only rested for 24 hours, but the organizers said we had to do it. We did not have any other choice to come play, but we always hope for the best. "
Ghana will face Mali on Friday in a win or draw.
