Arsenal and Unai Emery seem to have received a double boost for injury.
This is good news for the Spaniard, who has not had much luck in injury since he became head coach of the Gunners.
Before the clashes this weekend against Huddersfield Town, he is already without Danny Welbeck, Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin, who should all miss the rest of the season.
Meanwhile, Shkodran Mustafi is doubtful for the match against the John Smith's Stadium after defeating the 3-1 defeat at Manchester City last weekend.
Should he miss the defensive crisis of the North London team, this could mean a first start to the season for the young Konstantinos Mavropanos – who replaced the German at Etihad stadium.
The backs Nacho Monreal and Stephan Lichtsteiner have already been used by Emery as a half-back makeshift, which could be the case Saturday afternoon.
However, this is not bad news for the gunners, as two players from the first team could be available very soon.
One of them is a central defender. Sokratis, who has not played since his left ankle injury in the FA Cup's fourth round defeat against Manchester United two weeks ago, posted a picture via Instagram of his return to training.
The legend reads: "Work hard to be ready" with a series of Muscle Emojis.
As shown in the picture above, Granit Xhaka is next to Sokratis.
The Swiss international has missed the last two games due to a groin injury. He also turned to social media and sent a message to Arsenal fans regarding his rehabilitation.
"Recovery mode," he writes. "So good to walk on the field again."
Sokratis will certainly miss the fight against the Terriers because he should not resume training thoroughly before the end of February, but it remains to be seen when Xhaka will be able to take his place in the middle of the central field.
