Louise Redknapp breaks the silence on the ex-Jamie and reveals Valentine's plans

Louise Redknapp revealed that she was on good terms with her ex-Jamie Redknapp after their separation.

Being arrested at Heart Breakfast, the mother of two confessed that she had had a difficult year, but she still counted her ex-footballer as her "best friend".

Speaking with Lucy Horobin and Jamie Theakston – good friends with Jamie – Louise confirmed that she "gets along well" with her ex-husband and gave fans a rare update on their relationship.

She said, "Yes, it's very difficult, but I mean, you know, it's my best friend.

"It was really difficult but things are happening and yes, I saw it yesterday and it was good.

"We had school meetings and other things like you, so everything is fine."

Louise went on to discuss her plans for Valentine's Day, revealing that she "hated" the holidays now that she was no longer in a relationship.

"Oh my God, you know what, I hate Valentine's Day now!" She squirmed.

When asked why, she responded timidly: "What do you mean, why?"

Louise jokingly continued that she was now "too old" for Valentine's Day, but that she would rather have a "galentines" celebration with her friends.

Referring to the fact that she was not currently dating anyone, she laughed, "Yeah, it will be me, Galen, yeah, I'll be sitting at the restaurant with my mate!"
