The loan period for Victor Moses from Fenerbahce is well underway.
The Nigerian international has been a regular at the club under Antonio Conte for two complete campaigns, but he is a player who has suffered a change of head coach and a different training.
Maurizio Sarri's pbad from his compatriot's 3-5-2 / 3-4-3 system to his favorite 4-3-3 system caused Moses to stumble in the first half of the season, as he was unable to win. He was not a natural right back and well in the hierarchy to start on the flanks.
His only departure under the Blues head coach was in September, in the 2-1 victory of the third round of the Carabao Cup at Anfield against Liverpool. He has played four substitutions in the Premier League and Europa League.
Appointed on the bench against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup last month, what turned out to be a goodbye to Moses was eclipsed by Cesc Fabregas' latest appearance in English football.
One week before the closing of the January transfer window, the winger sealed his transfer to Fenerbahce under a loan agreement of 18 months duration.
His arrival at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium coincided with the consecutive victories of the clubs in order to ease their fears of relegation. After opening his account for Fener, the impact of Moses was hailed by European football expert Andy Brbadell.
"What's interesting is that he's immediately become a cult hero because he's the kind of player that Fenerbahce fans love," said Brbadell at the podcast "On the Continent ".
"It dares to do things and in a climate of fear because the stakes are huge.If you fall in the wheels, it is an absolute disaster. You can not really use the word" disaster "in the sport. used only there.
"It's someone who comes into this context without being affected, he comes in as a submarine against Goztepe and wants to try tricks, he wants to dribble the players.
"Obviously, it's so much easier to deploy your wings a) under this climate and b) when Cameron Jerome was kicked out for visitors."
