Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum all resumed training on Thursday, in anticipation of the crucial clash between Liverpool and Bournemouth on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp's team has been handicapped in recent weeks. James Milner, Henderson, Fabinho and Wijnaldum have all been invited to play on defense.

Alexander Arnold's knee injury last month left Liverpool without a right back in his team, but the 20-year-old has strengthened his recovery before visiting Bournemouth.

Liverpool can go back to the top of the Premier League with a win over the Cherries, after Manchester City was top of the league for the first time this year.

City's 2-0 win over Everton put Pep Guardiola's team at the top of the standings, but Liverpool now has a late match against their closest rivals.

Midfielders Henderson and Wijnaldum both missed the 1-1 draw against West Ham, but could now be available for the weekend game.
