DSP Mohammed Yussif Tanko, the northern police's public relations officer, confirmed the incident to Clbad News regional correspondent Mohammed Gadafi, and revealed that residents had told the police that the suspects were forced into the victims' room and shot dead.
According to the Yussif Tanko DSP, 12 empty AK ammo shells and one live ammunition were recovered from the crime scene.
He added that the police had started investigations to arrest the perpetrators.
In the meantime, the bodies were taken to the Karaga District Hospital for autopsy.
