Ghanaian police arrested six people suspected of playing a role in the murder of journalist Ahmed Hussein Suale.
The clandestine journalist was shot dead in Madina, Accra, on January 16 of this year.
The suspects were interrogated, their statements were collected and released on judicial police bail.

The director general of public affairs of the police, the Deputy Police Commissioner (ACP), Mr. David Eklu, who informed Kumasi yesterday, however, refused to mention the names of the suspects.

Mr. Eklu, who was in the Ashanti region to inform the media about the Police Administration's communication strategy, said that the police were looking for a cartographer to give artists the impression of the perpetrators, as the eyewitnesses had given it.
"In addition, the police are still processing the information collected by eyewitnesses," he said, baduring the public that the service would neglect nothing to try to arrest the perpetrators.
He called on the media to take their personal safety seriously and to be aware of their environment and take nothing for granted.
