A measles epidemic is spreading in Manila, the capital of the Philippines.
The health department reported a 550% increase in the number of cases nationwide, with 55 deaths since January.
Immunization efforts have been hampered by a recent corruption scandal in which children may have received a dangerous dengue vaccine as part of a mbad immunization program, which has weakened the confidence of health authorities.
