According to him, the NDC can not dictate to the president the management of his government. The ministers and the national security coordinator have nowhere to go.

Speaking as part of Okay FM's "Ade Akye Abia" program, former Deputy Interior Minister, Nana Obiri Boahene, said the NDC did not have the right to request removal of Bryan Acheampong and others.

He also said that under the regime of former President John Dramani Mahama, there was a lot going on that nobody claimed the dismissal of their officials, recounting the incidents that occurred during the election from Akwatia, Chereponi, Talensi and Atiwa.

"CDNs should not give the impression that they are better than everyone else. They should note that they are not the only ones living in Ghana. They will continue to occupy their various functions, "he said.

He therefore condemned the violence in the by-election of Ayawaso West Wuguon, which he described as regrettable.
