A disabled man, apparently about 40 years old, was seen among the demonstrators during the "Aagbe Wo" protest on Thursday morning.

The man who gave his name Ola said that he had come from Teshie to join the protest.

It is unusual for people with disabilities to participate in such political events outside of those organized by people like him to express their dissatisfaction.

According to him and like many others, the violence of the by – election that has just ended in the constituency of Ayawaso West Wuogon must be condemned and the alleged perpetrators must be brought to justice .

"If something were going to happen in this country, where would I go running, I'm relegated to that wheelchair, where shall I go, what am I going to do," he cried.

Ola said kidnappings, violence and widespread killings in the country must be stopped.

"I call on the president and leaders of this country to restore peace, we need peace and Ghana is a peaceful country," he said.
