Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka, MP for Asawase, said that a murdered journalist, Ahmed Hussein-Suale, a convinced Muslim, knew that he would not be returning home the same day he was allegedly killed.

According to him, the Qur'an teaches that everyone, no matter how caliber and position you occupy in society, will ever die.

"As Muslims, we do not fear death because every Muslim is waiting for death," he said.

The Holy Qur'an teaches that every Muslim must live as if it was his last day on earth, he added. He is therefore certain that Ahmed, as a true Muslim, did not expect to return home living that faithful day.

"When we leave our homes, we do not expect to return home alive, so those who are cowardly and think that they have ended Ahmed's life and that they are jubilant Ahmed is a real Muslim, "he said.

According to him, the world has undergone all its changes thanks to the sacrifice of people's lives. That's why Ahmed died for a good journey.

"We in the minority are saddened by this death and we urge the government and the security agency to find the perpetrators of his death," he said.
Alhaji said the death of Ahmed should not be added to the many journalists killed around the world.

"His death should not be added to the statistics on journalists killed in the world, bring the badbadins to the editor."
