EDEN HAZARD hinted that he would stay in Chelsea after revealing that he and his manager, Maurizio Sarri, "thought the same" for football.
The Chelsea star is a sought-after commodity with Real Madrid, a presence that will not leave the Belgian side.
Recently, Blues No10 revealed that he had "made a decision" about his future at Stamford Bridge, which caused a great deal of concern among Chelsea fans.
However, speaking to the Times, Hazard congratulated his manager, Sarri, and alluded to a stay at Stamford Bridge after revealing that he and his boss thought the same thing.
Hazard said, "The manager likes possession! He talks a lot about statistics. Numbers. Possession. Turning. Goal opportunity.
"In the past, we played more counterattacks. It's different with Sarri than with (Antonio) Conte and (Jose) Mourinho.
"Sometimes we keep possession of the ball and I understand that the fans want us to move forward [more directly]but that's part of football.
"We are always learning more about its concept. We are well. I like this kind of football.
"Sarri is an excellent manager. This is an old man [60, meaning experienced] but his way of thinking is the same as I think about football. "
Hazard has scored 15 goals in 31 games in all competitions this season, with the striker spearheading much of Chelsea's success in this campaign.
The 28-year-old has been forced to play a fake No9 role this season, after Sarri dropped strikers Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud.
However, last month, Sarri gave Juventus a loan from Gonzalo Higuain to free some of Hazard's weight.
The duo played twice, a double in their last game against Huddersfield and Hazard predicted that he and Higuain could produce "something big together".
Hazard added, "When you have the ball, you have a lot of freedom, not only me but also the attacker and the right [attacker] Willian or Pedro, so we can move a lot.
"I only played two games with Higuain and I know we can do something great together, not only with him, but with the other strikers, the other winger.
Chelsea does not talk about Higuain and Hazard, but about 25 players. But Higuain is a fantastic striker.
"He has to adapt a bit to English football because he is different from Spain and Italy." Higuain has a lot of experience. He scored everywhere. He's a nice guy, calm. But he will score goals, that's for sure. "
