Deceased, Noah Appiah, age 31
An employee of Dalex Financial Services was stabbed to death by unknown badailants in Amakom, a suburb of Kumasi, in the Ashanti region, MyNewsGh.com confirmed.
According to reports, the deceased, 31-year-old Noah Appiah, was reportedly attacked and stabbed to death as he was traveling from work around 8 pm near the late Kumasi Children Park on Thursday, February 7, 2019.
According to local residents, they believed that the deceased had been stabbed to death by armed robbers, with his mobile phone and other property confiscated.
According to residents, the deceased was stabbed on the back several times.
The deceased was transported to the Komfo Anokye University Hospital (KATH), but was declared dead upon his arrival.
The body has since been dropped off at the same institution's morgue pending an autopsy, while police revealed that investigations had been opened about the unfortunate incident.
