In a statement revealed by Kola Ologbondiyan, national advertising secretary and director of Media and Publicity, PDP's presidential campaign organization, the party said it had ended its mega presidential meeting despite the payment of payments. to the authorities. and got official approval to host the mega rally at the Old Parade Ground, in Garki, Abuja.

With this in mind, PDP advised Nigerians to document the action being taken against them by the Buhari presidency and the APC.

The party also said it had already scheduled Saturday its mega rally in Lagos for Tafawa Balewa Square to the Buhari presidency and that the APC announced the same day to force its campaign to opt for Abuja.

"We hope that they will allow the Lagos Rally to be held on Tuesday.

The PDP maintains that these provocative actions, instead of deterring Nigerians from their determination to separate from President Buhari on February 16, have only succeeded in encouraging more compatriots to support the popular candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to victory.

"The PDP appreciates the commitment of Nigerians, especially those who have already converged on Abuja for this mega rally.

"We regret the inconvenience caused by the insensitive action of the Buhari presidency and the APC, but we would like to inform that a date postponed for the rally will be communicated shortly," reads the statement. .
