The artist from Mavin Records, D'ija is out with his first efforts for the year 2019, with the release of the video of his latest single, Mr Bob, which is dedicated to the memory of the legendary reggae artist, Bob Marley, on the day of his posthumous birthday, February 6th.
The video, made by Xela and Lekan, takes a trip back in time with its retro vintage setting and brighter perspectives as the singer approaches society.
Dija, in her new offer, used the titles of some of the last reggae songs, persistent icons, to tell a story. The clip was also shot in a bar on the theme of Bob Marley on which were written quotes of the deceased singer.
One of the quotes that stood out was: "When the music hits you, you feel no pain." The song itself had a reggae and dancehall vibe and the video clips were also appropriately dressed in yellow, green and red outfits.
While fans of the music icon and reggae music fans were turning to social media to share with him his eulogy of what would have been his 74th birthday, D'ija pushed his wishes still higher with a new song and a new video clip.
