Washington lawmakers heard expert testimony, but not thousands of parents who lined up on February 8 for the hearing of the HB 1638. This bill deprives parents of the possibility of asking for a personal or philosophical exemption to allow their children of school age not to use the combined vaccine against measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) . Driven by 36 non-fatal cases of measles in which the governor proclaimed "state of emergency", lawmakers claim that it is Washington's high vaccination exemption rates, of about 5%, which put the entire state in danger. In reality, this "epidemic" is more of an "incident," explained Jaclyn Gallion of Informed Washington during a public testimony before the Department of Health earlier this year:
In the same way that we had an outbreak of mumps in the Marshall Islands, Clark County had an outbreak of Slavic measles, or more precisely, "paused". Virtually all cases belong to this religious group. The lists of exhibition sites are not those where randomly taught students become infected in a public place. There are not enough students for this to happen. The exhibition sites are the places where Slav children go before they become symptomatic. I should know, I am very active in the community of choice and none of the exempt students have captured it.

Today, legislators have seen more than 2,000 people present themselves in freezing cold accompanied by children in extreme opposition to this violation of freedom. The crowd was so large that it filled the Capitol reception rooms, forcing the staff to open reception rooms in a nearby building. Although families were denied the opportunity to testify, many still took the opportunity to educate their lawmakers on why this exemption is vital for their families.
A powerful and moving rally. I shed several tears today. I have to shake hands with Bobby Kennedy Jr and thank him for his help. And our experts were incredible. I liked to chat and thank them all too. And I had very good conversations with representatives who care and really listen. I really wish that more of them be like that. They are not. They really are not. – Leah Houser
Informed Washington shared the process that this bill will take. First, he was heard by the health and well-being committee of the House. If it is pbaded on the outside of this committee, it will be put to a vote at the entire House. He would then go to the Senate.
This is no longer a vaccine problem; It is a human rights problem. We must SEPARATE PHARMA AND STATE. We will not leave, and we will not bow to this scandalous drift of the government.
If all those who think they have the right to make the medical decisions of their children and their children do not tell the legislators, and NOW we will lose it. Soon. The public health of states and local communities is ready and willing to sell our children to Pharma. And it's happening. – Leah Houser
Speech by Jaclyn Gallion
Hi, I'm Jaclyn Gallion. I am on the board of Informed Choice Washington, but I am mostly the mother of eight healthy, unvaccinated children. The Ministry of Health wants lawmakers to believe that parents are stupid, lazy, ignorant and socially irresponsible. But internal communications show that we are bright, smart, and well educated, and that we know more than the doctors who inject vaccines.
The Washington State Department of Health continually and systematically exaggerates the risks of measles, while underestimating the risk of vaccination.
A 1 in 1 million injury rate is a magical thought. No responsible medical clinician would ever claim 1 million procedures without error.
The vaccines are not made by the elves and delivered by the angels.
They are some of the most complex pharmaceuticals in production, containing live and killed viruses, bacterial components, adjuvants, and so on. This is in stark contrast to a conventional drug, which will have a single active ingredient and binders.
A vaccine must be perfectly manufactured, perfectly packaged, perfectly labeled, perfectly shipped, perfectly preserved, perfectly prepared, perfectly dosed, administered hygienically to the right patient. Health professionals can not guarantee correct limb amputation – yet, they are able to administer a few million vaccines each year without error?
Medical error is the third leading cause of death. But are the vaccines perfect?
Many parents here know it – they know their children are injured and it was the vaccines because they saw them happening before their eyes. They saw the light go out in the eyes of their child, their health deteriorated, their language disappeared. In the event of a vaccine injury, families are lit by gas.
They are told that the injury is only a coincidence.
This correlation does not mean causality.
But moms know. Dads know. And the CDC knows it too.
We are here today because lawmakers have been lying and lobbied to deprive us of our right to make medical choices. Are we angry? No, we are energized. We said – "Never let a crisis get lost" and we will not let it made the crisis is wasted.
We will remain steadfast in the truth and expose the lies and we will not rest until we separate Pharma and State.
We will not let this artificial crisis go away. We will stand up, tell the truth, denounce corruption and fraud. We will correct the lies that are told. I am here today to say we are done. We are done with the government's recommendations, the guidelines, the sale of our children to pharmaceutical companies. We will not rest. We are motivated to end the corporate capture of our health services and the sale of our children. I am here today to say that the time has come to call for the separation of the pharmaceutical industry and the state and that we will not rest until it happens.
It's our country, our state, our children. Pharma, we are done.
WE ARE MADE with Pharma sponsored calendars, purchased politicians and alarmist media coverage. If you would like to partner with Washington to protect your rights, I urge you to get involved through Informed Choice WA at Informchoicewa.org.
