Three companies removed from the site of exposure to measles, according to Clark Co. Health officials | New

CLARK COUNTY, WA (KPTV) – The Clark County Department of Public Health has released sites that can be removed from the list of sites on Saturday.

Since January 1st, health officials have identified 53 confirmed cases and two suspected cases.

On Saturday afternoon, health officials did not identify new confirmed cases or places where people may have been exposed; However, identified sites can be removed from the list of exposure sites.

Three suspected cases reported earlier this week as possible cases of measles have been dismissed by health officials.

Officials said specialized tests determined the cases were due to a vaccine rash, a benign rash that can reach five percent of people after receiving their first dose of the measles-mumps-rubella vaccine or ROR.

The places of exhibition removed are:

• Sea Mar Salmon Creek Medical Clinic (February 1 and February 4),

• Vancouver Clinic Salmon Creek (January 30)

• Emergency Department at Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center (February 2).
