Prof Kwaku Asare Prof Stephen Kwaku Asare

An influential teacher in social and academic media with extensive knowledge of accounting and law, Professor Stephen Kwaku Asare voted with great confidence in the composition of the Emile Short Commission to investigate violence against women. Ayawaso West Wuogon.

His only "problem", however, is the former Inspector General of Police, Patrick Acheampong, a former student at Cape Coast's Adisadel College (Santa Clausian). Other than that, Professor Azar says that the old IGP is excellent.

Professor Azar being a former student of St. Augustine College (APSU) in Cape Coast, the joke was clear because both schools are traditional rivals of the central region.

With regard to Dr. Kofi Abotsi, Dean of GIMPA Law School and also APSUNIAN, like Professor Kwaku Azar, the academic scholar stated that Abotsi's training at St Augustines College will play a key role in his work.

"Dean Abotsi is hardly a partisan. He calls him as he sees it. Moreover, he is an APSUNIAN trained to say it as it is.

The "rivalry" between past and current students at Saint Augustine College, Adisadel College and Mfantsipim School is strong, but healthy, all in Cape Coast and it's often for fun.

Authorize the work of the Commission

Professor Asare, better known as Kwaku Azar, warned politicians to sit back and allow the "credible" team to work.

"It's a very credible commission. Politicians should leave members alone to do their job, "he said.

He congratulated the current government for forming the commission because similar violence has occurred in the past and nothing has been done to remedy it.

"We have witnessed electoral violence in this country. For the first time, the government had the courage to appoint an independent commission to investigate the cases that led to the violence and pledged to publish the findings.

The WW Commission of Ayawaso is credible. Members have strong pedigrees. Commissioner Emile Short served as a curator with Rawlings, Kufuor and Mills. No one can credibly attribute partisan motives to this honorable man.

IGP Patrick Acheampong was Special Attorney at the PNDC and Executive Secretary of the IGP at the PNDC. He was named IGP by Kuffour. If there is something against him, it is that he is a Santa Claus.

Professor Mensa Bonsu has been a scholar for decades and is universally respected by all parties.

Dean Abotsi is hardly a partisan. He calls him as he sees it. In addition, he is an APSUNIAN trained to say it as is.

We have witnessed electoral violence in our country. For the first time, the government had the courage to appoint an independent commission to investigate the cases that led to the violence and committed to publishing the results.

This one too has become a wahala.

It is a very credible Commission. Politicians should leave members alone to do their job.
