Filmmaker Karan Johar shared new photos of his second birthday, Yash and Roohi, on February 8th. The photos, shared on her Instagram stories, show Karan posing with each of her children and her mother, Hiroo.
The Yash and Roohi party was a celebrity affair, which included some of Bollywood's most popular children and their parents. Actors Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Deepika Padukone and others were spotted at the event. Among the children present at the event were the son of Shah Rukh Khan, AbRam, the newborn daughter of Neha Dhupia Mehr, the son of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, Taimur, the son of Tusshar Kapoor, and the daughter of Shahid Kapoor, Misha.
Images and videos of the party showed that the children were having fun, with music, songs and a huge cake. Several celebrities at the party shared glimpses on social media.
Karan has often talked about how his twins have changed his life. His biography Instagram now reads 'father and then filmmaker'. He often shared photos and videos of them on his Instagram, often from encounters with children from other actors. "I can not thank the world for giving my mother and me the best gift of all time … Happy birthday Roohi and Yash … you are a blessing for us," he wrote on their first birthday .

Karan hosted the twins in 2017. They were born to surrogate mothers and spent more than 50 days in hospital after they were born. While Yash is named after Karan's father, Roohi is an anagram of his mother's name, Hiroo.
Karan has a big 2019 to hope for, professionally. He will produce Kesari, Kalank, student of year 2 and Brahmastra, and will lead the epic of the Takht period.
