ABUJA – AHEAD presidential elections on February 16, President Muhammadu Buhari sounded the alarm regarding new alleged threats.
The general elections in the country begin on Saturday, February 16 with the presidential and national elections.
President Buhari, citing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), revealed that those who had looted Nigeria's cash, which now had considerable resources, planned to undermine the credibility of the election by buying votes.
In a statement that he personally signed on Sunday, the president urged Nigerians to mbadively participate in the upcoming presidential election.
According to him, "Through their looting, the corrupt have powerful resources at their disposal. And they will use them. Because when you fight corruption, you can rest badured that it will resist.
