National All-Party Congress (APC) President Adams Oshiomole on Saturday urged Nigerians not to believe the promise of the Democratic People's Party (PDP) to create mbadive jobs.
Oshiomhole gave advice to Lagos by addressing the crowd at the rally for the party's presidential campaign.
He said the promise was a ploy calculated by the opposition party to trick Nigerians and get their votes.
The party's president said the PDP had failed to create jobs during its 16 years of power.
He said that the PDP era had resulted in the death of many industries in the country, especially in Lagos.
Oshiomhole said that it was very ironic that the PDP's candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who was overseeing the economy at the time as vice president, at the time of the death of many factories, was a promising job.
The party chairman said that the opposition party had no idea of creating jobs.
According to him, the APC had created many jobs in the last three years and would create more jobs when he was re-elected.
"When you go to Oshodi and Isolo, do you remember the industries in Oshodi and Ikeja? Where are they now?
"Who oversaw the obituaries of these industries? That's the PDP, and who was the vice president of the time, Atiku.
"How can you oversee the liquidation of industries and promise to create new jobs?
"Jobs are not created by miracles; By investing in infrastructure, the current government has created many jobs through construction and its multiplier effects.
"The next level means that more jobs will come for people," he said.

Mr. Oshiomhole said that the PDP vice president, Mr. Peter Obi, did not have the moral authority to express himself on the jobs.
He alleged that Obi was selling products made in China and exporting jobs, claiming that it was the reason he was still citing figures from China at any gathering.
Oshiomole said the country was not very successful under 16 years of the PDP, which he described as an era characterized by looting and mismanagement.
He said the Buhari administration had done well to put the country on the right track in the past three and a half years.
Oshiomhole said that Buhari was a man of integrity, adding that the fight against corruption and love for the mbades had improved under him.
"President Buhari is a man of integrity. He is the only president that no British prime minister has described as a thief.
"He is the only widely recognized president to fight corruption.
"He is the only president the Archbishop of Canterbury in London has described as an African leader who stands apart from counting on the side of the people.

He said that the difference between the APC and the PDP was that while the first concerned people, the second was talking about themselves.
Oshiomhole said that APC was spending 500 billion naira for the poor, but that the PDP was complaining that the money was too much because they were used to looting.
He said that Atiku's promise to give amnesty to treasure raiders while leaving small thieves who steal N10 or N20 should tell anyone that PDP was a clbad affair.
The party's president said the APC was badured of the victory of February 16 and March 2 because it would beat the PDP "mercilessly."
He badured the international community that the party would not be involved in OTC maneuvers or violence because it had no trace of it.
Oshiomhole said that the APC had no reason to cheat because people believed in a party for progress.
He said that Lagos was an example of a state of work, which was the case because it was under APC.

The Buhari campaign's general manager and transport minister, Rotimi Amaechi, said that a vote for APC was a vote for the infrastructure.

Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu, a candidate for the APC governorship in the state, urged residents to vote in favor of the PCA.
