Naruto may have finished his main series a while ago, but the series is far from over. Nowadays, Boruto Uzumaki carries the torch for his father, and a new interview with Mikio Ikemoto sheds light on what awaits the boy.
Shueisha recently published an interview with the artist in honor of the release of Manga Plus. That's where Ikemoto opened up about BorutoThe artist wasted no time raising Kawaki.
"Regarding the future development of history, this one will revolve around Kawaki, so I do not want fans to ignore it, I want them to observe the transformation of chemistry." between Kawaki and Boruto and his connection to the opening scene of the first episode, "said the artist.
Of course, Ikemoto is right about the fact that fans are interested in the first episode of Boruto. It started with a flash-forward finding the village of leaves under attack. Once Naruto out of sight, Boruto has only Kawaki to defend his house in ruins. The boys clashed in front of the smoking remains of the city, but the conflict was not explained.
Nowadays, the manga is just beginning to unravel the mystery behind Kawaki. The character debuted not long ago in the manga world, but things are not going well for the boy. After being kidnapped from his violent home, Kawaki was turned into a living ninja tool that could become a vessel of yet unknown power. Boruto has managed to bring Kawaki back to the Leaf Village where he lives under Naruto's care, but the danger is to follow the traumatized boy. A secret organization called Kara seeks to bring Kawaki back home and his interest in ninja's scientific tools bodes ill for the ninja world as a whole.
