Jet2 flight to Tenerife makes an emergency landing in Manchester as there was no water for tea and coffee

HOLIDAYMAKERS interrupted its Jet2 flight to Tenerife, as there was no hot water for TEA on board.

The flight – which took off from Glasgow (Scotland) this morning – was forced to drift into Manchester after the cabin crew discovered a plumbing problem.

He flew over Cork, Ireland, before being redirected to Manchester.

A spokeswoman for Jet2 said the plane had been baffled as a result of a water problem for "teas and coffee".

She said: "There was a technical problem with the water on board.There was no water for teas and coffees.

She added that the pbadengers were "well cared for" and were transferred to another flight to Tenerife.

A pbadenger fumbled: "The plane @ jet2tweets from Glasgow to Tenerife had to turn around and land in Manchester urgently because they did not have drinking water for hot drinks!

"My name is a better excuse next time, flights with Ryanair are never trapped, I'm going to Tenerife for the moment."

Another added: "Diverted to Manchester and now on a replacement plane to Tenerife Broken toilets and apparently no running water on the first Jet2 aircraft.

"Everyone is in a good mood and the @ jet2tweets crew looks after us with pleasure."
